Wedding Officiant

Book your appointment today!

Let's get married...

Do you need a Wedding Officiant?

I can guide you in obtaining your marriage license and officiate your wedding just the way you want it! I am a commissioned Notary Public for the State of Florida and have the ability to officiate your wedding anywhere in Florida. Beach wedding? Wedding at a special location? Not a problem!

What area do we serve?

Located in beautiful Lakeland / Polk County with all its great wedding locations and beautiful Lakes, we are also close to all the beaches for your Beach Wedding and are willing to travel to any location upon agreement of a travel fee depending on the distance from our main office.

What is the Process

We will have a phone meeting before your wedding so I can get to know you and we will talk about what expectations you have in your wedding ceremony and your wedding day , I want your wedding ceremony to be all you have dreamed of! You can provide your own vows or I can also assist you with that.

It is your responsibility to obtain a marriage license and bear the costs for the license.

To get a marriage license in Florida, you and your spouse must go to the county clerk's office together and:

  1. Complete a marriage license application.
  2. Provide identification, such as a driver's license, passport, or birth certificate.
  3. Pay a fee, which varies by county.
  4. Wait three days before the license becomes effective.
  5. Have a ceremony performed by a judge, clergy member, or other authorized person, e.g. Notary Public.
  6. Return the signed marriage license to the county clerk's office within 10 days of the ceremony. The county clerk will then issue you a marriage certificate.

It's important to note that these are the general rules for getting married in Florida. There may be specific requirements in the county where you plan to get married, so it's a good idea to check with the county clerk's office for more information.

Once the marriage is officiated, I will take care of the paperwork for you and will make sure it finds its timely way to the clerk of courts.

I offer marriage certificates, please let me know if you are interested. See below for the design and price.
